The Snow Just Keeps Coming...

If you weren't jumping out of your ski boots with excitement already, the latest from the slopes will have you giddy for the new season.

Plenty of our destinations have had some serious snow over the last month and we're also delighted to say that the majority of our resorts are now open!

Norway has been hit with some impressive snow already this year, so much so that all of our resorts are open as of today. It's one of the best starts to the season we've ever seen, providing many an early-season powder day and setting a solid foundation for our first customers to arrive in less than two weeks.

We're particularly pleased to see such generous helpings in Gausta, which is new to our programme this season. With a snow depth of 70cm already, our team can't wait to get there themselves in January!

And it's not just the snow that's been impressive. Scandinavia has seen spectacular northern lights over the mountains in November. Take a look at the snaps from Geilo below.

Across the border, Sweden has also benefited from good early-season conditions. Åre, Scandinavia's largest ski resort was just shy of its earliest-ever opening last weekend on 25 November and has received 41cm in the past week!

The USA has seen some fantastic snow totals already, particularly in the Rocky Mountains. Jackson Hole leads the way with a mightily impressive 175cm so far followed by Vail on 114.

This is good news for our first three customers of the year, who will make some of the first tracks of the season in Winter Park, Breckenridge, Aspen Snowmass and Vail this week.

There's always a buzz around our team when the snow starts falling in Japan, where ski resorts benefit from some of the best powder conditions in the world.

According to the Niseko marketing team, it's been 'absolutely nuking' it down with powder. You see what they're getting at... 79cm has fallen on our favourite Japanese resort over the past week!
