Revelstoke Resort Guide

Insider tips from our team

Why Revelstoke?

Revelstoke features the longest lift-serviced vertical descent in North America at 5,620 feet. At present, there are 3,121 acres of skiable terrain accessed by four high-speed quad chairs, an eight-passenger gondola and two Magic Carpet lifts on the dedicated beginner slope and the mid-mountain lodge. The mid-mountain Revelation Lodge features breathtaking vistas and a counter-service restaurant with espresso bar, deck with barbeque and local beer on tap.

With majestic alpine bowls, legendary tree skiing, a continuous fall line and lofty rolling groomers, the terrain options are endless. An additional three exclusive alpine bowls for cat-skiing and half a million acres of snowcat and helicopter skiing and snowboarding terrain are offered by the resort.

The village base offers a variety of unique eating establishments and après-ski spots. Rockford Bar & Grill is a full-service, lounge-style restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, après-ski, dinner, and late-night meal options while The Mackenzie Common Tavern offers both microbrews and more well-known beers too, plus a selection of cocktails such as the "Ugly Sweater". La Baguette is a local favourite downtown, now joining the resort village and offering a selection of home-baked goods, sandwiches, and delicious treats such as homemade gelato.

Downtown Revelstoke offers an authentic Canadian mountain-town atmosphere with additional accommodation, a selection of bars and restaurants, shops, and other attractions for entertainment.

Heli and cat-skiing

Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing is located in the heart of the world’s best heli-skiing. Two impressive mountain ranges, the Selkirks and the Monashees, provide unmatched terrain. Unique snow conditions and mild climate provide great powder from December through to April. Selkirk Tangiers boasts over 500,000 acres of terrain with over 200 established runs.

Great Northern Snowcat Skiing offers access to untracked terrain and world-renowned powder skiing in the legendary Selkirks. Snow-cats will take skiers and boarders to all levels of terrain, from wide-open bowls to steep chutes and cornices.
