We put together superb ski holidays to some of the most interesting and perhaps slightly more unusual (for UK skiers anyway) places to ski around the world - Canada and the US, Norway and Sweden, Japan and Switzerland.

And we like to add a little something extra too, so that our holidays are more than ‘just’ a ski holiday. You can see some examples by looking at our amazing ski safaris.

From our light and airy, modern warehouse offices just a stone’s throw from the beach in central Hove on the Sussex coast - if you step out of the front door and look right, you can see the sea!

It’s the ideal location for cycling to work, a swim at lunchtime or enjoying some fresh air with a walk along the seafront. There are also some fantastic pubs, cafes and restaurants just up the road, so it’s a great place for a good work-life balance.

We are looking for people who want to provide our customers with real customer service.

It’s easy to do this if you like talking to people, are confident on the phone and have a positive, upbeat attitude.

You might have some knowledge or experience of the ski industry, but that isn’t essential. Experience working in a customer service environment is. Even if that has been a holiday job or a temporary position, it all counts! Some core computer skills and being well-organised with a good eye for detail are also important.

But really it’s about you being the right kind of person, someone who can get stuck in and quickly become a valued member of the team and make a contribution.

Are you a keen skier or snowboarder with a passion for storytelling? We’re looking for a talented in-house copywriter to join the Ski Safari and Freedom Treks marketing team and take our content to the next level.

What’s the role?

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll be the voice of our two brands; researching, writing, editing and publishing a wide range of content. Your day-to-day role will include:

• Writing captivating copy for product pages, landing pages, blog posts, enewsletters, social media posts, press releases and more
• Proofreading and editing copy for colleagues
• Ensuring all copy is well-written, accurate and free of mistakes
• Ensuring all copy is engaging and tells a story
• Optimising content for search engines where applicable
• Developing and maintaining a distinct tone of voice for Ski Safari and Freedom Treks
• Where needed, creating and publishing web pages, newsletters and social posts from scratch, and editing photos and videos

While you’ll be able to draw from our team’s considerable experience, you’ll also get to travel to see our destinations first-hand on research trips with colleagues.

We’re a small, agile team so you should be able to work flexibly, independently and to a deadline. You’ll be working closely with other departments across the business, so strong communication skills are important.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• At least one year of experience in a copywriting role, preferably within the travel industry
• Impeccable spelling and grammar
• The ability to write clearly and concisely in plain English
• Eagle-eye attention to detail
• A solid understanding of SEO best practices and content marketing principles
• Experience using content management platforms
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
• A passion for travel, particularly winter sports and active travel
• Knowledge of some of our destinations would be a bonus

Previous experience is essential for this role. We need someone ready to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

The fine print

This is a full-time, office-based, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm, plus occasional weekend shifts during peak departure periods with time off given in lieu.

We’re offering a salary of £26,000 to £32,000 per year, depending on your experience and what you can bring to the company, plus a performance-related bonus of up to 10% of salary.
