Skier.

I learnt to ski when I was 10 years old and straight away loved it. I feel very grateful to have managed to go skiing almost every season since. After university, I did a ski season in Val d'Isère, skiing most days of the week.

I haven’t been on a ski safari yet, but the Taste of Japan Ski Safari looks like an amazing one.

Most mountain moments are the best, I can’t decide... nothing beats a well-deserved pint at the end of a big ski day looking over the mountains though.

Last December I went to Whistler with a few of the team and we also spent a night in Vancouver. It was my first time visiting Canada and I can definitely see what all the fuss is about!

I'm hopefully heading to Banff and Panorama in March which I'm very excited about!

I once saw the northern lights when I was on a ski trip to Ylläs in Finland. Everyone had told us not to get our hopes up that we’d see them so it was a lovely surprise when we did!

I would highly recommend heading to resort by train... it's very exciting watching the scenery becoming more and more wintery as you head towards the mountains.
