Ski/boarding history
I was fortunate enough to start skiing when I was about eight years old. My family would go on annual trips to Austria. In my teen years, we travelled with Ski Safari to Sun Peaks in Canada, which really opened my eyes to all the amazing places you could ski outside of Europe!
Best mountain moment
It would have to be skiing on Christmas day in Sun Peaks - it really felt like a film. The slopes were so quiet and we could get so much done in one day, not to mention the fantastic Christmas dinner.
Favourite Ski Safari
I would love to do the Utah and National Parks Ski Safari. Skiing in Park City, the biggest resort in the U.S., and the long scenic drive through Zion National Park looks like the perfect trip to me!
Last resorted visited
I got to visit Åre in Sweden a couple of years ago with my parents. We stayed at the lovely 5* Copperhill Mountain Lodge and saw wild reindeer nearby on the slopes!
Next trip
I haven’t got anything planned, but I would love to go to Heavenly in California. The views of Lake Tahoe as you ski down the slopes are hard to beat and the idea of skiing between California and Nevada seems so fun.
Interesting fact
I spent some time living in Texas, which is where I began to love road trips. It is likely the reason why I love the idea of any ski safari's with long scenic drives.
Top ski trip recommendation
Always carry a snack for the slopes and some chapstick - both will make your day skiing way more comfortable!
