Host of the 1960 Winter Olympics, Palisades Tahoe is renowned for its big mountain terrain and heavy snowfalls. Set on Lake Tahoe’s beautiful North Shore, our team never tire of coming here.
Made up of two ski areas connected by a state-of-the-art base-to-base gondola, experts love Palisades for the steep chutes, glades and powdery bowls, while beginners can enjoy green runs across the mountain.
Big spring snowfalls make this a great option for Easter skiing. It often dumps overnight and Tahoe receives around 300 days of sunshine a year - waking up to blue skies and deep powder is not uncommon here.
The car-free resort village in Olympic Valley, The Village at Palisades Tahoe, has a few shops and restaurants but nightlife is low key. As with all Tahoe resorts, San Francisco and Las Vegas make great city add-ons to a Palisades Tahoe ski holiday, or Mammoth is the best addition for a California Ski Safari.
